Mr. Etherton has extensive and diverse electric utility experience with responsibilities including system planning and analysis, interconnection procedures, protective relaying, substation design and communications systems to utility supervision and project management. Mr. Etherton has been actively involved with the regional transmission planning organizations, including Southwest Area Transmission (SWAT), and the Eldorado Valley Study Group (EVSG) committee for the planning of EHV facilities with local and regional utilities, independent power producers and the Arizona Corporation Commission. Mr. Etherton also has deep background and experience in transmission and distribution system planning, Navajo and Palo Verde Operation Studies, WECC Seasonal Nomogram Studies, communications and protective relaying systems and developing operating procedures for system operations.
