Mr. Barajas has extensive and diverse electric utility experience with responsibilities including system planning, engineering protective relaying, substation designs, substation commissioning and testing, system planning and engineering utility supervision and project management. Mr. Barajas also has deep experience as Subject Matter Expert (SME) in NERC Reliability Standards for Planning and Engineering. Mr. Barajas has extensive experience supervising and performing Open Access Transmission Tariff (OATT) System Impact and Feasibility studies and providing the technical support in the developing of generation interconnection agreements. Mr. Barajas has been actively involved with the regional transmission planning and operative organizations, including Southwest Area Transmission (SWAT), Southern California Utilities Transmission Owners Group (SCUTOG), and the California Operating Subcommittee (OSS). Mr. Barajas has been a representative in the WECC Technical Studies Subcommittee (TSS).and has been an active member of multiple WECC path rating studies including the EOR and WOR path rating increases.
